Every corner of Rome begs to be painted and this flower stall on the corner of Via della Vite is no exception. I took the reference photo for the original painting while I was in Rome studying Italian Renaissance art history many years ago and the image has stayed with me ever since. I created the original piece prior to teaching my first Travel Write Draw paint challenge in May.
