I often find my mind drifting to memories of Tuscany but even more so these past few months in isolation. The stoic cypress trees, golden hay bales, and sprawling open fields beckon me. I was planning to go on a creative retreat there this Summer so instead I've painted my way through its fields of lavender instead.
